CLARK COUNTY PARTY CHAIR

About Me
My name is Ashley Lovell, and I am a proud native Nevadan and lifelong progressive. With a background in economics and community development, I have dedicated my career to making a tangible impact—both at home and abroad. I hold a master’s degree in economics from UNLV and have spent years working in public health, education, and economic development across East and West Africa. From serving as a Peace Corps health volunteer in Ethiopia to leading global programs at Clean the World Foundation, I have always been driven by a commitment to data-driven solutions and meaningful change. Now, I am ready to bring that same passion and expertise to the leadership of the Clark County Democratic Party.
Why I’m Running
I am running for Chair of the Clark County Democratic Party because I believe in the power of a strong, united, and financially transparent party to drive real progress in our community. As Treasurer of the Clark County Democrats, I have seen firsthand how critical sound financial management and strategic planning are to our success. We need a party that is not only well-organized but also actively engaging voters, supporting candidates, and strengthening our grassroots efforts. With my background in economics, data management, and community service, I will ensure that our party operates with integrity, efficiency, and a clear vision for the future.
